Palm Springs International ShortFest (2010)
In 2010, the Palm Springs ShortFest committee wanted to revisit my 2009 film noir concept. I realized I was rather ashamed of my designs from the year before, so I decided to revisit and refine them for their 2010 animation debut. I think the original spirit has been retained, and hopefully improved.
Palm Springs International ShortFest (2009)
Here are two concepts for the festival's brand identity that I pitched. They didn't go with either one, but I had fun designing them. The first idea is an animated film noir, and the second idea involves a world that looks like modern art.
Pink Panther 2 - Burger King Campaign (2008)
I had the opportunity to design versions of the classic Panther and Clousseau animated characters for the Kids' Meal tie-in with the Steve Martin movie. The clients were interested in referencing the 1960s Richard Williams designs more than the contemporary versions in the new films.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska (2008)
This project had the opportunity to explore a rather thorough range of character possibilities. The colored frame is the final look the clients desired.
Golden Grammies (2007)
These were some character design explorations I did at MAKE while coming up with potential looks for Golden Grahams cereal mascots.
AICP Sponsor Intro (2007)
These were some early character sketches I did when we were first concepting the project beyond my original idea.
